Every believer is called to exalt Jesus. When we exalt Jesus, we worship him for who he is and what he has done for us. When the church comes together, we do so for the purpose of honoring and worshipping Jesus. We gather on Sunday mornings and evenings to lift up the name of Jesus.
The gospel changes our heart's desires. When we understand, embrace, and live out the gospel, our false priorities are replaced with genuine worship of God. That's why we gather every Sunday to worship through song, confession, prayer, giving, Scripture instruction, and the regular observance of the ordinances: baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Acts 2:33; Heb. 1:3; Phil. 2:9-11; Rev. 5:9-10).
Practically, we do this by:

Christians participate by:
• attending and engaging in corporate worship.
• serving so others can participate in corporate worship.
• Giving to God’s glory, etc.!
God is glorified through:
• Biblical preaching.
• Gospel-centered music and singing.
• Corporate prayer.
• The ordinances (baptism & Lord’s Supper)
Hebrews 10:25 "...not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another..."
1 Timothy 4:13 "... devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching."
Colossians 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
